The skin care-Basic

GLOWING SKIN is a result of a proper skincare, It MEANS you can wear LESS MAKEUP and let the skin shine through - Michael Coulombe.

So in today's post we are going to see what is skin care and why it is necessary.

Skin care - by the name we can understand that it is something which we do to take care and protect  our skin from external environmental conditions such as heat, temperature, dust, pollution and so on.It makes our skin look good and healthy and reduces the appearance of pimples, acne, wrinkles etc...Using good products and making it as a routine will make our skin glowing and fresh all the time.It also helps our skin to stay young and healthy.

KNOWING YOUR SKIN TYPE: The most important thing to start a skin care routine is to KNOW your skin type and to figure out which products and which natural ingredients works best for your skin.

There are basically five different skin types and they are;

NORMAL SKIN

OILY SKIN

DRY SKIN

COMBINATION SKIN

SENSITIVE SKIN.

So using products which suits our skin type will give a good result.

MAKING IT AS A ROUTINE: A lot of us really wish to have a great, clear and healthy skin but the time and the work we put in to get the desired result will be less. Keep this point in your mind. Not only skin care but to do any work  we must put a lot of persistent efforts to achieve our goal and SHINE ON.

You can start a skin care routine in the morning as well as in the night.

MORNING skin care routine usually starts with a good cleanser or a face wash. You can use a face wash if you have an oily type of skin.

Next is an optional step, a toner. Using a toner helps to tighten your pores. If you have open pores you must definitely introduce a toner in your skin care routine.

Next is a serum. A face serum is one which is used directly to your skin after cleansing. It keeps your skin moisturized and healthy as it contains a lot of active ingredients. Not using a serum is not a big problem!!!

The next step is using an eye cream. Eye cream or under eye gels are used to reduce the puffiness under the eyes and helps to remove the dark circles. As eye is an important feature in our face we must take care of our eyes too...!

Next step is using a moisturizer. Moisturizer is something which helps to keep our skin moisturized all day and prevents from drying. Dry skin people make it mandatory to use a moisturizer. Oily skin people can use a gel-based moisturizer as it does not look too oily.

Note: Face serums are optional if using a moisturizer. But moisturizer is a must product in our skin care routine.

The final and an important step is using a SUNSCREEN!!! Sunscreen is very very important as it protects our skin from sun burns, sun damage, sun tans etc...Using a sunscreen with a SPF of 50 is really good for our skin. Again oily skin people can use gel-based sunscreens.

These are the morning skin care routine. The list may seem to be long but it hardly takes 10 to 15 minutes to do all these steps.

NIGHT skin care routine also begins with a cleanser which is very gentle on our skin and removes the dirt and impurities from our skin. If you are a makeup person then do use an oil-based cleanser to remove your makeup and then use a foam cleanser. This is the DOUBLE CLEANSING METHOD which helps to achieve a glassy skin.

The next step is to use a toner.

And then an eye cream.

And finally a moisturizer which helps to moisturize and look fresh the next day!

These are the night skin care routine.

INTAKES : Though we use a lot of external products to make our skin glow nothing can beat the power of intakes. WATER is a magical liquid which makes our skin look good and healthy. An average of 2 to 2.5 litres of water a day is good to our skin and our body.

Fresh fruits and juices are also good to our skin. Vitamin C intake is basically great for skin such as orange, lemon etc...

And that's all. Hope you loved this post.Do follow and share with your friends and family if you like it.

LET'S GLOW TOGETHER😇💓.

With love,

GG.
